A worldwide association of Military Lactation Consultants who promote, protect and support breastfeeding in the Uniformed Services

• Increase access to care by providing families with timely, respectful, and professional lactation services at regional Military Treatment Facilities
• Support, promote and protect breastfeeding by offering professional education to health care providers and local community advocacy services
• Maintain high standards for Evidence Based Practice utilizing current literature and research.
• Support mothers who choose to return to work (active duty) and continue breastfeeding
• Provide worksite support program information to employers/commanders
